If you are a Phillies fan, you probably remember where you were standing when you heard the news. It was three years ago today that the voice of the Phillies, Harry Kalas, passed away in Washington, D.C. It does not seem like three years but it is a day that will certainly stick with Phillies fans forever.

Harry Kalas was the voice of summer for so many and his impact on the city of Philadelphia is endless. The Hall of Famer will always be held in Philadelphia lure and will always be the “Voice of the Phillies.”

Below is one of the most famous calls HK ever made and a tribute to him from Comcast Sportsnet Philadelphia.
