Happy Monday! Steak and Eggs for a hearty breakfast!

The Eagles are still in the hunt for a division title. Yes, you read that correctly. The Eagles pieced together a sloppy 26-10 win in Miami yesterday over the Dolphins. Michael Vick threw for 208 yards. Lesean McCoy rushed 27 times for only 38 yards. Coupled with a Cowboys loss to the Giants, the Eagles are still alive. Up next for the Eagles are the New York Jets next week. More here.

As we said, the Giants came back late against the Dallas Cowboys. Giants DE Jason Pierre-Paul blocked the potential game tying FG from Dan Bailey (who made the first attempt but Tom Coughlin- not Jason Garrett froze him just before the snap). Giants won 37-34. People are saying Eli is better than his brother Peyton because of what he did. Peyton, for the record, is still better. More here.

Steak and Eggs is back! Let's get you all caught up on what you missed last night in the world of sports...

The Flyers lost in a shootout last night to the New Jersey Devils 4-3.  Parise and Elias scored for the Devils while Briere was the only Flyer able to net a goal in the penalty shootout.  More here.

The Chicago Cubs, under new GM Theo Epstein are looking for a new manager.  Naturally, reports have been talking about the possible hire of former Red Sox manager Terry Francona.  Now we all know that managing an American League team is as easy as estimating the length of a Kardashian marriage (I couldn't help myself), a return to the NL would be interesting to see.  More here.

After a disappointing loss to the Baltimore Ravens, former Eagles quarterback, now Arizona Cardinal, Kevin Kolb looks to be unlikely to play in this weeks game against the St. Louis Rams, who are coming off of their first win of the season.  The Ravens defense absolutely pummeled Kolb all afternoon last week, so a week with a headset might do Kolb some good. More here.

This Saturday, #1 LSU travels to Tuscaloosa to play #2 Alabama.  This is certainly the biggest game of the season, and the only match up of 1 and 2 until the National Championship game.  Interesting stat: Under Nick Saban, the Crimson Tide are 3-2 coming out of a bye week, both of those losses coming at the hands of? You guessed it. LSU. Both times, the Tigers were also coming off of a bye.  Prediction: LSU: 24 Bama: 20
