Zimmermann has been absolutely stellar this season. In his last start, he went eight innings allowing two runs (one earned) on seven hits while striking out six but he would get his second loss of the year as the Padres would win 2-1. He has allowed more than two runs just once in his night starts when he allowed three runs to the Marlins in a complete game gem on April 15th. He has allowed just four runs in four starts in May. He has gotten the decision in everyone of his nine starts so far this season.
