In the second period of Tuesday night's game against the Devils, Flyers forward Brayden Schenn hit former-Flyer Dainius Zubrus along the boards. As Zubrus went down, his right skate came up and caught Schenn above his pads and sliced his torso.
Schenn was attended to on the bench by athletic trainer Jim McCrossin. McCrossin glued the wound shut and sent Schenn on his way.
He missed a few shifts but has returned to action in the second period.
