Eagles head coach Chip Kelly spoke at his weekly press conference on Monday and said running back Darren Sproles has an MCL sprain in his left knee and will be sidelined "a week or two." Philadelphia has a bye this week and returns to action on October 26th against the Arizona Cardinals.
Sproles, 31, was injured in the second half of Sunday night's victory over the Giants. He rushed seven times for 39 yards and a touchdown against New York. Sproles has 211 rushing yards and three touchdowns in six games this season. He only rushed for 220 yards and two touchdowns in 15 games last season. Sproles' three rushing touchdowns have tied a career high.
