ESPN's Adam Caplan reports the Miami Dolphins and Tampa Bay Buccaneers have requested permission from the Eagles to interview vice president of player personnel Tom Gamble for their vacant general manager position. It was reported Thursday that Gamble was the "top candidate" for the Dolphins general manager job.
Gamble came to the Eagles last offseason after spending eight years with the San Francisco 49ers. He has worked around the NFL but started his career working for his father, Harry, in the Eagles front office.
Game has never been a general manager in the NFL but seems to have the pedigree to make it happen.
