Vick took some snaps with the first team offense during the morning walk through but Mike Kafka took the majority of the snaps. Vick is going to see an outside neurologist to evaluate him and is expected to take the concussion test in the next few days with hopes of playing on Sunday. The status is still uncertain and is subject to change at any point in time as Eagles trainer Rick Burkholder pointed out. They cannot be too careful and nothing is set in stone yet. We all just have to wait and see for the results of the concussion test.
And, of course, what is a game against the New York Giants without some obnoxious comments leading up to the game. Giants safety Antrel Rolle said on the radio this week "I want the best of the best and he is the best. I hope Michael Vick plays, because at the end of the day, I don't want any excuses when we go down to Philly and put it to them the way we will.” It is understandable why Rolle wants to face Vick the way that he scorched them on December 19th on their way to a 38-31 victory but he should probably be a little smarter and realize that Vick is a game changer.
Regardless of who says what, it all comes down to Vick’s concussion test within the next few days and who starts on Sunday. Kickoff is at 1pm at Lincoln Financial Field.
