The Eagles announced on Friday linebacker Jake Knott has been suspended for the first four games of the 2014 season for violating the NFL policy on performance enhancing drugs. The Eagles released a statement, "We’re very disappointed to learn of [Knott's] suspension. We have spoken to Jake and he is fully aware of the mistake he made and owned it. The key for Knott, however, is to learn from that mistake and move forward with his preparation for the 2014 season.
The 2013 undrafted rookie out of Iowa State recorded six total tackles in 12 games played last season for the Eagles playing primarily on special teams.
