Now, they are dealing with their first arrest of the off-season. Left tackle Jason Peters was arrested early this morning in Monroe, Louisiana for drag racing and fleeing police according to USA Today. Officers observed Peters and another car sped off at a traffic light after it turned green. The officers pursued as one sedan pulled over but Peters' sped off in his white Camaro and would later pull over in a shopping center.
He reportedly topped 100 mph while attempting to flee from police. This is the second time that he has been arrested in Louisiana as he was arrested for disturbing the peace in Shreveport in 2011 after a Rick Ross concert.
Peters is entering his fifth season with the Eagles. He is a five-time Pro-Bowler but missed all of last season with a ruptured Achilles tendon. He was absent from recent OTAs.
