The team announced runningback LeSean McCoy and left tackle Jason Peters are both headed to the 2014 Pro Bowl. Quarterback Nick Foles is a first alternate while left guard Evan Mathis and wide receiver DeSean Jackson are both second alternates.
McCoy, 25, leads the NFL in rushing with 1,476 yards on 287 carries with nine rushing touchdowns. He is 37 yards away from breaking the Eagles single-season rushing record. In addition to his efficiency on the ground, McCoy also has 51 receptions for 536 yards. He is the third youngest runningback in franchise history to be selected to two Pro Bowls.
It is Peters' sixth Pro Bowl selection and his first since 2011. The 31-year-old has been selected to four Pro Bowls in his five seasons in Philadelphia.
