The Eagles announced on Tuesday they have placed second-year safety Earl Wolff on injured reserve with a knee injury. To take Wolff's place on the 53-man roster, the team signed former Eagles defensive back Roc Carmichael.
Wolff, 24, played in seven games for the Eagles this season recording six tackles and one pass defended. He has been battling injuries all season and only appeared in 11 games in 2013 due to injury.
Carmichael, 26, played in 13 games for the Eagles in 2013 recording 16 total tackles and four passes defended.
