Vick donated $200,000 to build Team Vick Field in the Northeast so the North Philadelphia Aztecs, a Pop Warner team, had a place to play. Vick said that it was nice to make a mark on the city that gave him a chance to play professional football again even though he was born in Virginia, not Philadelphia. The Aztecs are somewhat famous locally as they won the 2004 Pop Warner Super Bowl.
It is always nice to see things like this happen in the community. The Aztecs get a well-deserved place to play and Vick gets to feel good that he made an impact off the field in the community. Now let's hope Vick's impact on the field is as positive as his impact was to the Aztecs.
