The Eagles selected Vanderbilt wide receiver Jordan Matthews with the 42nd overall pick in the 2014 NFL Draft. Philadelphia traded the 54th overall selection (second round) and the 122nd overall selection (fourth round) to the Tennessee Titans for the 42nd pick.
Matthews, who turns 22 in July, shattered SEC record in his career at Vanderbilt. He set the SEC record for career receptions (262), career receiving yards (3,759) and single-season receptions in 2013 with 112. The 6'3", 212 lbs. wideout pulled in 112 passes last season for 1,477 yards and seven touchdowns. Matthews caught five or more passes in every game in 2013.
Something to note, he is the cousin of Hall of Fame wide receiver Jerry Rice.
