ESPN's Adam Schefter reports the Eagles have signed former-Houston Texans outside linebacker Bryan Braman to a two-year contract worth $3.15 million with $1 million guaranteed. Braman is primarily a special teams player.
Braman, who turns 27 in May, recorded eight total tackles in 2013 for Houston playing mostly on special teams. The 6'5", 251 lbs. linebacker was selected as a Pro Bowl alternate on special teams last season and gives the Eagles another tough player.
Braman joins Chris Maragos as two solid special teams signings for the Eagles in the early stages of free agency.
It is also interesting to note that Braman said he gets his size from his grandfather who was 7'4" and a whopping 460 lbs.
