The Eagles announced on Monday they have signed veteran safety Chris Prosinski. In order to create room for Prosinski on the roster, the team placed inside linebacker DeMeco Ryans on injured reserve.
Prosinski, 27, comes to the Eagles to provide depth in the secondary and play on special teams. Prosinski started the year with the Jacksonville Jaguars before injuring his elbow and triceps in September. He was waived by Jacksonville on September 23rd. The 6'1", 208 lbs. safety's best season came in 2012 when he played in all 16 games, including seven starts, and recorded 53 tackles with one interception.
