The Eagles announced today that wide receiver DeSean Jackson has been selected to the 2014 Pro Bowl replacing injured Texans wide receiver Andre Johnson. Jackson joins fellow teammates RB LeSean McCoy, LT Jason Peters, QB Nick Foles, and LG Evan Mathis as Eagles selected to the Pro Bowl. Peters reportedly will not play in the game due to medical reasons (dislocated finger).
Jackson, 27, is headed to the Pro Bowl for the first time since 2010 and the third time in his six seasons in the league. The former-second round pick had a career year setting a career-high in receptions (82), yards (1,332), and first downs (60) while tying a career-high in touchdowns (9) and games played (16).
It is nice that the Eagles are getting recognized but does anyone intend on watching the whole game?
