Going out after the game is standard as most teams have the day after a game off (i.e. Falcons RB Michael Turner last week). Unfortunately for Jackson, he is promoting this after party when everyone in the city has the team under a microscope. There is no Phillies postseason run to divert eyes from noticing everything going on with the Eagles and, in fact, there doesn’t look there is going to be Flyers hockey to take some heat off of the Eagles either. Every move is going to be dissected. Hosting and promoting an after party is probably not the best idea coming off of a 27-6 slaughtering in which many fans are up in arms about Jackson’s recent play.
Jackson got paid in the off season much to the dismay of a large quantity of Eagles fans who were tired of Jackson’s antics. This is the guy who said he did not give full effort last year. Philadelphia fans will not take too kindly to his promotion of the after party if he doesn’t help guide his team to a victory over a division rival.
