Opening up the playoffs in Pittsburgh could not have started any worse for the Flyers. Sidney Crosby, OF ALL PEOPLE, got the Penguins on the board under four minutes into the game. Tyler Kennedy put them up 2-0 four minutes later and they would make tack on another before the end of the period to go up 3-0 in the first period.
Playoff hero Danny Briere responded with a second period goal to make it 3-1. He would score again with just under 11 minutes remaining in the game to get the Flyers to within one. Scott Hartnell's slap pass to Brayden Schenn four minutes later who tied the game set up Jakub Voracek's overtime heroics.
