The Flyers announced on Sunday goaltender Steve Mason will be out for two weeks with a lower-body injury. Mason left Saturday afternoon's Flyers game against the Boston Bruins in the first period with a lower-body injury. He had injured himself Tuesday then tweaked it again Wednesday in practice and had an MRI done Wednesday afternoon.
He appeared to be in serious pain on Saturday.
Mason, 26, is 8-12-6 with a 2.48 GAA and a .919 SV% with one shutout on the season. He has appeared in every Flyers game since returning from a back injury on December 29th against the Arizona Coyotes.
