One thing the Flyers could look to do is move up in the draft. The Philadelphia Inquirer's Sam Carchidi writes that, despite Paul Holmgren's statement on being happy with the 11th pick, the team could be in the market to move up in the draft. Carchidi cites Holmgren's statement that they are prepared "to do anything if the right thing comes up" on Sunday.
There a number of teams that the Flyers could look at to swap picks or add picks. The Edmonton Oilers were reportedly interested in Braydon Coburn and could look to build a deal around him while swapping their first-round pick (7th overall) for the Flyers' first-rounder (11th overall).
Flyers writer Dustin Leed mentions another team that would make sense for the Flyers: the Calgary Flames. The Flames have three first round picks and the Flyers could look to package Matt Read and another pick to move up to No. 5 overall or to add one of their two later picks (22nd and 28th overall).
There are a number of options for the Flyers or they could just stay put - but that doesn't seem like a Paul Holmgren thing to do, does it?
