The Philadelphia Daily News' Frank Seravalli reports Flyers goaltender Steve Mason resumed skating on Monday for the first time in three weeks. Mason broke his right pinky finger playing hockey in Oakville, Ontario on Sunday, July 27th and was expected to miss two weeks of training.
Mason posted a 1.97 GAA and a .939 SV% allowing eight goals on 131 shots against in a little over four games against the Rangers in the 2014 playoffs. The 25-year-old tied a career-high with 33 wins this season going 33-18-7 with a 2.50 GAA and a .917 SV%.
