General manager Paul Holmgren announced that Erik Gustafsson will be out two weeks with a left knee sprain. Gustafsson collided knee-on-knee with a Blue Jacket in the third period of Saturday night's 6-3 loss in Columbus.
In 20 games this season for the Flyers, the 25-year-old has two goals and five assists for seven points. His career high for points in a season is eight which he had last year in 27 games with the Flyers.
Gustafsson had been playing well for the Flyers which was nice to see on their blue line. If there is a silver lining here, this injury falls at a decent good time as the Flyers play just four games over the next ten days.
