In the first period of last night's OHL playoff game between the London Knights and Windsor Spitfires, Knights goaltender (and Flyers prospect) Anthony Stolarz took issue with Spitfires forward Josh Ho-Sang, who slashed Stolarz with the Knights already leading 3-0.
The officials were going to send Ho-Sang to the box for slashing when Stolarz decided to one-hand slash Ho-Sang in the back of the head.
Stolarz is likely to see supplemental discipline as there is no room in hockey for these kind of antics especially considering the NHL's attempt to eliminate head contact, let alone a stick to the head after the play is over.
Stolarz, 20, was drafted in the second round of the 2012 draft by the Flyers. He is 25-5-2 with a 2.52 GAA and a .926 SV% this season for the Knights.
