The team announced on Tuesday they have re-signed fourth-line forward Zac Rinaldo to a two-year contract extension. The terms of the deal were not disclosed by the team but CSN Philly reports the deal is worth $1.7 million with an average annual value of $850,000, a $100,000 raise from his current deal.
Rinaldo, 24, scored two goals and added two assists for four points in 67 games last season for the Flyers. Rinaldo was finished the season with 153 penalty minutes and 231 hits. The winger primarily serves as an enforcer for the Flyers despite his 5'10" stature.
