The Philadelphia Daily News' Frank Seravalli reports the Flyers have recalled 2012 first-round pick Scott Laughton from the Oshawa Generals. If Laughton appears in nine or fewer playoff games, his entry-level contract will slide but if he appears in 10 or more games, he will burn the first year of his entry-level contract.
Laughton, who turns 20 at the end of May, scored 40 goals and dished out 47 assists for 87 points in 54 games for the Oshawa Generals of the Ontario Hockey League in 2013-14. It is doubtful Laughton will play for the Flyers in the playoffs but he could be spending time skating with the Black Aces who were called up earlier this week.
