The Flyers announced on Monday they have recalled forward Ryan White from the Lehigh Valley Phantoms. White has been out since he underwent surgery to repair a torn left pectoral muscle at the end of August and his surgery was performed by Dr. Gerry Williams at Methodist Hospital. The injury occurred during an off ice workout in Brandon, Manitoba in August.
The Flyers signed White to a one-year, two-way deal over the summer.
White, 26, appeared in 52 games last season for Montreal scoring two goals and dished out four assists. In parts of five seasons with the Canadiens, he scored five goals and added 12 assists. White is a fourth-line forward who plays in defensive situations.
