Bobrovsky, who turns 24 in September, was 14-10-2 with a 3.02 GAA and .899 save percentage in 2011-2012. Overall, in 83 games with the Flyers, Bobrovsky was 42-23-10 with a 2.73 GAA and a .909 save percentage.
The haul of draft picks received from Columbus is a lot more than most expected in return for Bobrovsky. The move clears $1.75 million from the Flyers cap hit. If the cap increases to $70 million as expected come July 1, the Flyers seem to be in good shape again with nearly $12 million in cap space and nearly $17 million with Pronger on LTIR.
The Flyers are expected to continue wheeling and dealing with the first round of the draft tonight.
