Foles was named the NFC Offensive Player of the Month for the month of November on Wednesday. It is hard to argue his worth. In three games in the month, Foles completed 70.8% of his passes, threw for 932 yards, 10 touchdowns, and no interceptions while putting up a passer rating of 152.8 - an NFL record for one month.
Not to mention he had the game of a lifetime against the Raiders to begin the month. Just three weeks ago against the Raiders, he tied an NFL record for most touchdown passes in a single game. Foles, 24, completed the game with 22 completions on 28 attempts for 406 yards with a franchise and NFL-record seven touchdown passes against the Raiders on November 3rd. Foles accomplished all of this in three quarters only having the ball for 15:56.
Foles became just the seventh player in NFL history to throw seven touchdown passes in one game and the second Eagles quarterback to do so joining Adrian Burk, who did so in 1954.
The Eagles have a lot to be thankful for this holiday season and at the top of the list should be Nick Foles.
