Now Douglas is in more hot water. WFSB-TV's Joseph Wenzel IV reports Douglas was involved in a domestic violence incident at a Connecticut hotel in which he reportedly choked a woman and “slammed her into the wall several times.” Douglas is being charged with second-degree strangulation and third-degree assault. He denies that it was assault but, rather, the injuries came during sex.
The 42 year-old former All-Pro defensive end played in Philadelphia for six seasons from 1998-2002 and 2004. He also played for the New Jets from 1995-97 and the Jacksonville Jaguars 2003. In his six years with the Eagles, Douglas registered 54.5 sacks, went to three Pro Bowls from 2000-2002 and was named an All-Pro in 2001 and 2002.
