Jagr spent the 2011-12 season in Philadelphia scoring 19 goals and dishing out 35 assists for 54 points. Last season between the Dallas Stars and Boston Bruins, the 41 year old scored 16 goals and added 19 assists for 35 points.
Unfortunately, it seems like the free agent winger is having a tough time finding work.
All that being said, I loved Jagr when he was here and for a very cheap price, I wouldn't mind taking a flyer (no pun intended) on the Czech native. An issue is that Jagr broke down towards the end of the year in each of the last two seasons which could have teams raising red flags about his durability over 82 games. Another road block is that Jagr's spot on the Flyers (RW on Claude Giroux's line) has been taken, rather successfully, by Jake Voracek.
