Eagles left guard Evan Mathis is headed to Honolulu as the fourth Eagle to be selected to the Pro Bowl. Mathis, 32, was a second alternate and found out today that he was selected. He will join quarterback Nick Foles, running back LeSean McCoy, and left tackle Jason Peters in Hawaii.
Mathis, known on Twitter as a clown, tweeted after the news was released, "Someone tell Tonya Harding I don't need her help getting into the Pro Bowl anymore."
The Eagles guard was considered a Pro Bowl snub last year and not being selected the first time around this year was just pure ignorance. He was a first-team All Pro guard who had his best year to date.
Mathis just completed his third season in Philadelphia after signing with the Eagles as an unrestricted free agent in 2011.
