Foles is putting up some good numbers but he definitely has weapons. LeSean McCoy put up his 15th career 100+ yard rushing day when he rushed 25 times for 116 yards last Sunday in Tampa and will look to build on that this week against Dallas. He leads the league in rushing yards with 630 yards, a 99-yard lead over second-place Arian Foster entering Week 7. McCoy's 630 rushing yards through the team's first six games is a new Eagles franchise record.
Wide receiver DeSean Jackson, 26, has 34 receptions for 589 yards and five touchdowns. His 589 yards leads all NFL receivers and he trails only New Orleans' tight end Jimmy Graham by four yards for the NFL lead. He is on pace to shatter his career-best 1,156 yards set in 2009 as he is on pace for 1,571 yards. In eight career games against the Cowboys, he has 29 receptions for 614 yards and one very epic 91-yard touchdown.
It'll be interesting to see how the Cowboys defense lines up against Foles & Co. Last season, then-rookie running back Bryce Brown ran for 169 yards in a 38-33 loss to Dallas coughing up the football late in the fourth quarter which led to Dallas sealing the win. McCoy has 509 career rushing yards in six games against Dallas so expect a heavy dose of Shady.
If DeMarcus Ware ends up playing, he could be a major problem for the Eagles offense. The Cowboys outside linebacker strained his quad last Sunday night against the Redskins and has not practiced all week but plans to test his leg on Sunday to determine if he can play or not. One thing to remember is Ware does not need to start in order to play in the game on Sunday.
Bryant has been on the receiving end of Romo's solid season with 34 receptions for 459 yards and six touchdowns. He has two separate 141-yard receiving games this season against the only two undefeated teams in the NFL, Kansas City and Denver. In four career games against the Eagles, Bryant has 18 receptions for 275 yards and three touchdowns.
A lot of attention this week has been on the Cowboys' loss of DeMarco Murray at running back and who will step up in his place. It appears as though fifth-round pick Joseph Randle will be the guy who gets the call for Dallas. The rookie out of Oklahoma State rushed for over 1,400 yards last season for the appropriately named Cowboys. He also recorded 108 receptions in 39 career games in college so he could be a threat out of the backfield for Romo.
The Eagles defense has played well the last two weeks but will really be put to the test on Sunday. Bradley Fletcher, who has been the Eagles best defensive back, leads the Eagles with 10 passes defended in just five games - five more passes defended than the next closest players (Cary Williams and Brandon Boykin).
Safety Nate Allen has stepped his game up recently and will need to keep playing at a high level to make sure the Eagles slow down Dallas' offense. He is second on the team, and leads all defensive backs, with 43 total tackles (32 solo).
Trent Cole has been invisible on the field since Week 1 when he was credited with a safety, three solo tackles, and two quarterback hits. He was actually a player spotlighted that had a great game after the win. Since then? Nothing. He has yet to record a sack this season and is aging at an incredibly fast rate, right in front of our eyes. Cole needs to be a menace to Romo on Sunday.
Bryant, 24, has 34 receptions for 459 yards and six touchdowns. He has two separate 141-yard receiving games this season against the only two undefeated teams in the NFL, Kansas City and Denver. He is coming off a subpar performance against the Redskins with only five receptions for 36 yards. In four career games against the Eagles, Bryant has 18 receptions for 275 yards and three touchdowns.
Fletcher, 27, leads the Eagles with 10 passes defended in just five games - five more passes defended than the next closest players (Cary Williams and Brandon Boykin). he will likely be tasked with trying to slow down Cowboys No. 1 receiver Dez Bryant. Bryant (6'2", 222 lbs.) only has two inches and 22 pounds on the 6'0", 200 lbs. Fletcher which makes him a good matchup. Also expect to see Cary Williams line up against Bryant as well.
