Pettibone, 22, is coming off back-to-back starts in which he allowed one run. On Sunday he allowed one run on five hits with six strikeouts in 5.1 innings of work. The Phillies have won three of his last four starts. Pettibone has never faced the White Sox but is 1-1 with a 4.63 ERA and a 1.37 WHIP in two starts against the American League this season.
