Martin, 24, allowed three runs on four hits with three walks and nine strikeouts in an 11-3 loss to the Mets last Thursday. The Phillies have lost three of Martin's last four starts. He has never faced the Nationals in his young career. In four starts at Citizens Bank Park, he is 2-1 with a 6.61 ERA and a 1.84 WHIP.
