Sixers v. Nets
Nets - The Nets smoked the Sixers on Monday night at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn. The Nets jumped out to a lead by hitting six of their first nine three-point attempts in the first quarter and leading by as many as 16 in the first. Joe Johnson outscored the Sixers in the third quarter by himself 26-25 while tying Michael Redd's NBA record with eight three pointers in the quarter. Six Nets were in double figures with Andray Blatche scoring 20 points off the bench. Brooklyn shot 21-for-35 (60.0%) from three-point range while the Sixers shot just 8-for-30 (26.7%) from beyond the arc.

Johnson, 32, went off against the Sixers on Monday night scoring 37 points including 26 in the third quarter. Johnson outscore the Sixers in the third quarter by himself. He followed it up with a strong 20 point performance against the Wizards on Wednesday. In 35 career games against the Sixers, Johnson is averaging 17.4 points, 4.6 assists, and 3.8 rebounds per game.

Turner, 25, has been playing some of his worst basketball since he entered the NBA over his last two games. He scored just nine points Monday against the Nets and had just three points against the Trail Blazers last Friday. In 13 career games against the Nets, Turner is averaging 8.8 points, 4.9 rebounds, and 2.5 assists per game.
