The NFL announced today that Eagles wide receiver DeSean Jackson won the NFC Offensive Player of the Week award. Jackson had seven receptions for 132 yards and a clinching touchdown in the Eagles 36-21 win over the Giants on Sunday. It was Jackson's third game this season in which he had 108 or more receiving yards.
Jackson, 26, has 28 catches for 525 yards and three touchdowns this season. His 525 receiving yards are good enough for fourth in the NFL, behind New Orleans' TE Jimmy Graham, Atlanta WR Julio Jones, and Baltimore WR Torrey Smith. He is on pace to shatter his career best of 1,156 receiving yards set in 2008.
