With the Flyers trailing 4-0 and getting beat in every facet of the game on Saturday, Luke Schenn dropped the gloves with Bruins forward Gregory Campbell.
It did not end well for Campbell.
Well, he got beat with a capital "B" on Saturday - although, so did the Flyers.
With everything else going well for the Bruins, there was no need to shy away from the fact that fighting Schenn was a questionable decision and he got popped. No harm in that.
It was Campbell's fourth fight of the season and, according to hockeyfights.com, he has been beaten pretty good in all four fights. The fight was Luke Schenn's fifth of the season but just his second since November 19th.
There might not be a correlation here but this is interesting. The Flyers are 1-4-0 when Schenn fights and have been outscored 19-10 in those games.
