After a great performance on Sunday night against the Chicago Bears, Eagles runningback LeSean McCoy was named NFC Offensive Player of the Week.
McCoy, 25, said earlier in the week that he wanted to put the offense on his back Sunday against the Bears. He was coming off of an eight-carry, 38-yard rushing performance against the Vikings entering Sunday. McCoy rushed 18 times for a league-high 133 yards and two touchdowns in the Eagles' 54-11 Week 16 win over the Bears.
The NFL's leading rusher, McCoy, has now rushed for 133 yards and 217 yards in two of the last three games. Both of those games resulted in wins for the Eagles.
Let's hope he can repeat on Sunday against Dallas.
