McCollum has excellent range which makes a nightmare to guard against because he has a lightning quick first step. He is a great scorer and distributor in transition which fits him well as he has a knack for coming up with steals and turning defense into offense. He is incredibly efficient with his offensive possessions and rarely gets cheated. For a player than only stands at 6’3” 197 lbs. he is a very good rebounder.

There were questions about his athleticism that only grew as he broke his foot. He seemed to relax scouts with his performance at the NBA Combine. He showed that he had explosiveness despite the setback with his foot.
Fit with 76ers:
McCollum would take some pressure off Holiday by being able to step in immediately and be a scoring threat for the 76ers. With McCollum’s scoring ability, it would open up the floor for Holiday which may reduce his turnovers. McCollum would fit in defensively as well as he can rebound and force turnovers with the best of them.
The addition of McCollum would give the Sixers one of the best young backcourts in the league. The question arises: Will he still be on the board when the 76ers pick 11th overall on June 27th?
