The Brooklyn Game's Devin Kharpertian reports the Brooklyn Nets could bet getting Kevin Garnett back tonight against the Sixers after an 18-game absence because of back spasms. Brooklyn head coach Jason Kidd said Garnett could come off the bench for the Nets which would mark the first time Garnett has come off the bench since January 27th, 1996.
Garnett, who is in his first season in Brooklyn after being traded in the offseason, is averaging a career-low 6.7 points per game while grabbing just 6.7 rebounds per game, his lowest since his rookie season of 1995-96 when he grabbed 6.3 rebounds per game. The 6'11", 220 lbs. Garnett turns 38 years old in May.
