The Sixers have been a team hell-bent on improving everything about the organization. Changing the ownership, changing the coach, changing the personnel, changing the uniforms, and now speculatively creating an alternate logo with this Ballin Ben design.
A few years ago the Sixers moved away from the black, gold and red color scheme they had been working with since the days of Iverson and moved back to the red, white and blue of the early years. I like that they switched back to the old basketball design, and the uniforms we have now are clean and timeless.
Below are the Sixers' logo branding acquired from @RealGM. Apparently, the design was just something used in an exploratory phase of a Sixers design. It's still pretty great, considering I'm not sure where or how exactly the Sixers would even use this alternate secondary logo. But if you see this design on twitter or anywhere today, don't lose it, because it'll probably never see the light of day.
