The Phillies annual ALS Phestival is tomorrow, May 19th at Citizens Bank Park. It is a great opportunity to meet your favorite players, get some autographs, take some pictures and raise money for The ALS Association, Greater Philadelphia Chapter's patient services and research. You can purchase your tickets on the Phillies website.
In addition to autographs, there are also over 100 items up for auction including lunch with general manager Ruben Amaro Jr., Veterans Stadium seats, and dozens of autographed sports memorabilia. You can see the full list of silent auction items here.
The Phillies ALS Phestival began in 1984 and they have raised $14.3 million over that time for The ALS Association, Greater Philadelphia Chapter's patient services and research. In 2013 alone, the Phillies and their fans raised $860,731 for ALS research.
