CSN Philly reports that starting pitcher Roy Halladay will have a rehabilitation start for the Gulf Coast Phillies on Thursday. If all goes well, he will start another game five days later. General manager Ruben Amaro Jr. said that it is "conceivable" that Halladay could be back pitching for the Phillies after these two starts at the end of the month.
Halladay underwent shoulder surgery on May 15th and began throwing from a mound after the All-Star break. Before his surgery, Halladay was 2-4 with an 8.65 ERA and a 1.46 WHIP in seven starts this season with the Phillies.
I hope we get to see Doc in Phillies pinstripes again.
