The Phillies have announced their home opener, originally scheduled for Monday at 3:05 pm, against the Milwaukee Brewers has been postponed until Tuesday at 4:05 pm due to "impending inclement weather.". All Home-Opener activities originally slated for Monday are pushed back 24 hours. The game will be broadcast on NBC 10.
There is excitement for the home opener as the Phillies are looking for their first sweep of the season on Sunday afternoon against the Chicago Cubs. Kyle Kendrick is slated to get the call for the Phillies in the opener.
