Baseball America reports the Phillies have re-signed relief pitcher Shawn Camp to a minor-league contract. Camp was outrighted by the Phillies last week and elected to take his chances in free agency. He was originally signed a minor-league contract with the Phillies in November after spending the last two seasons with the Chicago Cubs.
Camp, 38, has allowed two runs on seven hits with one home run allowed and one strikeout in 3.1 innings of work with the Phillies this season. He is 0-1 and has allowed two runs on nine hits with three walks and four strikeouts in six minor league innings for the Lehigh Valley Iron Pigs this season.
