John Mayberry Jr. got the start at first base last night to give Ryan Howard a night off to rest his bursitis in his left Achilles. Howard hit a two out pinch hit double in the bottom of the ninth last night and Michael Martinez came in to pinch run for him. He later scored on Corey Patterson’s error.
