Flyers @ Canadiens
Canadiens - The Canadiens entered the season coming off of one of their strongest seasons in years as they won the Northeast Division with 63 points and earned the second seed in the Eastern Conference before being bounced from the playoffs by the Ottawa Senators. Montreal, like the Flyers, all got out to a quick start in their opener taking a 2-1 lead into the locker room after the first period. Unfortunately the Leafs scored the next three goals and would take the game 4-3 in regulation.
