Flyers v. Islanders
Islanders - New York enters Philadelphia less than 24 hours after a crushing loss to the Pittsburgh Penguins Friday night at the CONSOL Energy Center. Pittsburgh jumped out to a 3-1 lead but the Islanders scored two goals at the end of the second period to tie the game. With just 1:16 remaining, Sidney Crosby scored to give the Penguins a 4-3 lead and eventually the win. The Islanders are 3-2-0 in their last five trips to Philadelphia and two of the victories occurred in shootouts. New York is 0-10-1 when they do not score at least three goals.

Mason, 25, is coming off a strong start against the Ottawa Senators on Tuesday night in which he stopped 32 of the 34 shots fired his way en route to a 5-2 Flyers victory. Mason already beat the Islanders on October 26th stopping 26 of 28 shots. In five career games against the Islanders, Mason is 3-1-1 with a 1.99 GAA and a .932 SV%.
