The team announced that Michael Raffl will be in the lineup tonight taking over for the injured Matt Read, who is out with a lower-body injury.
Read, 27, has been playing incredibly productive hockey of late. He has a point in three of his last four games including four goals over that span. Read is now tied with Vinny Lecavalier to the team-lead with eight goals on the season.
Raffl, 24, has been a healthy scratch since November 9th's 4-2 victory over the Edmonton Oilers. In 11 games with the Flyers this season, Raffl has no goals and one assist with a minus-2 rating.
Puck drop is slated for 7:30 pm at Tampa Bay Times Forum in St. Petersburg, Florida. The game can be seen on Comcast Sportsnet and heard on 93.3 WMMR.
