The Cleveland Cavaliers own the top selection in the NBA draft for the third time in the last four years, somehow. This year they have their choice of what stud player they want but they're also fielding trade offers.
The Sixers, along with the Magic and Jazz, all made intriguing offers to the Cavaliers for the top pick. ESPN's Chad Ford reports the Sixers offered forward Thaddeus Young and the No. 3 overall pick to Cleveland. The Jazz offered forward Derrick Favors and the No. 5 overall pick. Orlando came through with a major offer of guard Aaron Aflalo, No. 4 overall and the 12th overall pick for No. 1 overall.
Now Fox Sports' Sam Amico reports the Magic have a real shot at the No. 1 pick with their trade offer but their is "nothing hot" going on talks between the Sixers and Cavaliers.
It would appear as though the chances for the Sixers to move up to No. 1 are dwindling. Unless they throw in the 10th overall pick into the deal with the third overall pick and Thaddeus Young, it is tough to see the Cavaliers picking Philadelphia over Orlando.
